LGX Lite - Orbiter Adapter / Stealth Orbiter Adapter
prusaprinters
This STL allows you to mount the LGX Lite Extruder to the same Orbiter Extruder footprint. This allows you to use Toolhead sensors such as the Stealth Orbiter (https://github.com/sneakytreesnake/StealthOrbiter/tree/main) as well as other Orbiter Mounts. This is a tight fit, and you will need a ball head hex driver and some Socket Head Countersunk screws. In my case I needed:1x 2mm Ball head driver6x M3x10mm or M3x12mm Counter Sunk Screws (DIN 7991 etc. See note below)If you are using the stealth orbiter toolhead you will also need2x M3 Heatset Inserts (Voron Spec)Instructions:1. Pre-thread all screws in counter sunk holes on the adapter, if your printer is well tuned, it should hold the screws captive. You should have 4 going 1 way, 2 going the other.2. Screw in adapter to the bottom of the LGX Lite Extruder using the same matching 4 holes (See Note below)3. Using the 2 captive screws, fix the adapter onto any Orbiter Extruder compatible Mounts. Alternate between screws, and go slow, being careful to not strip the screw.Note:You should technically need M3x10mm countersunk screws, on the two LGX Lites I have, one allowed the use of M3x10mm, but the other required M3x12mm screws. Always start with a shorter screw as you can potentially damage the LGX lite with longer screws.
