LGA 1700 Bracket for Alder Lake

12-7-21 edit: Some people were having issues of file not being there. I reuploaded. This is a water cooler mounting bracket for the new Alder Lake processors. This is to use with your existing water cooler and possibly some air coolers. This is meant to get you by for now because many existing water blocks do not work. The metal brackets are better because of the material and because they distribute the load on both the mounting holes on motherboard and also the back side of the processor mount. This however has been working perfectly for me and I am able to get high overclocks with very good cooling. Some things to be noted for this to work. 1. The water block must have elongated slots for the mounting holes if it was designed for LGA 1151 or other mount. This is because LGA1700 has wider mounting points. 78mm to be exact. 2. The bolts used to tighten the bracket to the mount must be all-threaded bolts. The kind with the spacer built in will not work because LGA1700 has lower z-height and you will not achieve proper mounting force. 3. Care must be taken to not tighten too light (bad cooling) or too tight (wont boot). 4. Small plastic washers can be used with bracket to help distribute the force. ( see pics ) I waited until I could actually use it before posting. It is 100% working with my Phobya UC1 Extreme, 12700k and Gigabyte UD ddr4 motherboard.. Please google that cooler so that you can see what I meant about the elongated mounting holes and the all thread bolts for mounting. Although I do not believe it gets very hot where the mount is, I still chose to make it from PETG. PLA should be okay but I would inspect it frequently. ( Or take temp readings of the back of the motherboard). I took care to make it very quick and easy to print. No supports needed and prints in about 45 min to an hour. slight cleaning of the holes might be needed depending on printer tuning and your bolt dimensions.
