LG W61 Monitor Stand
thingiverse
So I picked up this monitor at a garage sale for a few bucks because the guy had lost its base, and it didn't have VESA mounts either. I was going to build some sort of stand out of plywood, but then it dawned on me that I could 3D print something instead. And here it is. The print in these pictures was done with 10% or so honeycomb infill and only 2 perimeters, which wasn't enough - I can tell by the way it looks! The back of it is flattened because I had set a lower Y travel limit in Marlin than I did in Slic3r, so it was trying to print off what Marlin thought was the end of the bed. I think it also looks a little too tall as it is, but it's sturdy and good enough that I'm not going to waste any more filament on a revision. I did include the FreeCAD source file in case anyone wants to tweak it.
