# LG Stylo 5 Case A sleek and simple phone case for an LG Stylo 5 designed in FreeCAD (two versions: one with openings and one with buttons built into the case) ## About In the spirit of Hacktoberfest, I wanted to contribute something meaningful to the 3D modeling community. Recently, we switched phone providers and acquired new phones (an LG Stylo 5). Instead of purchasing a case, I decided to create one for the open-source community. This case is basic yet offers ample room for creativity and customization. Feel free to take it and make something more out of it. The model was created in FreeCAD, and I've included the FreeCAD file, as well as a STEP and STL, allowing you to remake it however you see fit. ## Original The original design is straightforward with openings for the volume and power buttons. ## With Buttons A user requested a case with built-in buttons. For this version, there are three models: the case, the power button, and the volume buttons. ## CAD Files You can find the CAD files on GitHub at https://github.com/jwilliamsnephos/LGStylo5Case ## Printing I successfully printed the case using my Anet A8 without supports with PLA material. I was concerned about needing supports in a couple of areas (over the buttons and stylus pockets), but they printed fine. ## Assembly To install your phone, insert the bottom into the reliefs provided and carefully push the phone into place from the bottom up.
