LG Stove Knob Repair

This is the first think I've ever made using 3D software and it was driven by necessity. This thing was created to repair the knobs on my LG stove. They have all broke where they attach to the shaft, rendering them useless. Replacement knobs are very expensive and prone to the same failure. I tried several other available options on thingiverse, but none worked for my model. I made this to work for my specific LG stove model, hopefully it will help someone else. Fits on the stove shaft without the little metal clips installed. Not too tight, but tight enough.Remove the knobs from the stove, taking note of which knob was removed from which location. Some stoves have different settings for different burners, such as inner/outer burner rings.Remove the two screws holding the back plate, then remove the plage. You will need to remove all of the broken center section of the knob. I used a hot piece of metal to scoop it out as you can see in the pictures. This is so the surface is somewhat flush.Once complete, install the new part, followed by the back plage and screws. Reinstall on stove, making sure you push it all the way on to where it doesn't go on further.Inspiration for this project was from a combination of the following things:https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2853479https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3504754
