LG PF1500 Projector mount

This is a scan of an LG PG 1500 LED projector using the Einscan-S from Shining 3D. I used the scan to create a projector mount, which I made with 1/4" and 1/2" pipe. The middle piece is the 1/4" pipe, while the two bottom pieces are 1/2" pipe. I finished the top adapter with bondo and metal spray paint, giving it a textured look that resembles concrete or metal casting. I used the color paint and layered bondo to achieve this effect. The main goal was to set up my projector without drilling holes in the wall, while also testing the 3D scanner and using it in CAD to create an adapter. The scan worked perfectly, even though NX had difficulty grabbing onto STL files with faceted surfaces. Solidworks performed better in this regard. I conducted a further review on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59wMiFklv30&lc=z13uujhiwly4src5d04cjfs51mbvflja044), which focused on scanning a 2004 Dodge Dakota dashboard. Overall, I'm very pleased with the scanner's performance. It has proven to be an effective tool for creating a digital library of my possessions, such as my Weller WES51. Print Settings Printer Brand: Solidoodle Printer: Solidoodle 3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Infill: Hexagonal 20% Notes: Ensure that at least four perimeters are printed since these parts will be load-bearing. Some holes may need to be tooled out to accommodate M3 screws, but they can be forced in. Post-Printing I applied bondo on top for a textured finish. The other pieces were experimented with hot glue in the infill and resin on the outside for added strength. How I Designed This I designed this using NX, creating angular characters that gradually transition to fluid shapes at the top. I also included holes for cable management, but they may need revision.
