LG Kitchen Range Knob Part VER 1

I'm working on my very first 3D design project. This particular component was created using the 123D Design software. My mom asked me to make it for her, as her Range knobs were in need of repair - a common issue, apparently. To print this item, I used PLA filament. However, after conducting some research, I'm starting to think that I may have made a mistake by choosing this material. Given its proximity to heat sources, it might not be the best option. Unfortunately, I'm also unsure if my printer is capable of handling alternative materials. This project is still a work in progress, so please don't hesitate to share your thoughts on my design.
