This is a replacement power button (Part 5020DD3009F) designed specifically for LG Dishwasher models LD-1420T1, LD-1420T2, and LD-1421T2. It arrives as a single piece but be cautious with the tabs on the faceplate during installation, as they require a delicate touch to ensure a smooth fit. The button's action is satisfactory, though not exceptional; it gets the job done and saved me from a potentially disastrous situation. When this replacement eventually breaks, I plan to design an improved version that prioritizes better button action and durability. My proposal involves creating a spring by connecting a thin (1mm) wire with a width of 3-4mm from the fixing tab to the main button body on the opposite side. This would distribute the stress of pressing the button across a larger area, significantly reducing the likelihood of breakage compared to the current design.
