This is the initial iteration, carefully crafted to fit and assemble seamlessly. The part in question has long since been discontinued by LG, but its companion pieces remain available for purchase. I've never had the opportunity to lay eyes on the original component, so I designed this adaptation using only the leftover parts at my disposal. Recently, I acquired a new home, and upon inspecting the dishwasher, I discovered a faulty spray arm stashed away in a drawer. The search for a repair solution led me to realize that the part had been discontinued, prompting me to create a makeshift replacement. Upon closer inspection of the original wand/spray arm assembly, I hypothesize that the seal is not essential to its operation. Instead, I anticipate that hydraulic pressure will provide adequate lubrication, while the spray dispersing through the minuscule gaps between the housing and nut will serve as a primitive suspension system. As time passes, I'll update this design if necessary. If no updates are forthcoming by 8/10/18, it's safe to assume that the current iteration is functioning effectively for my purposes.
