LG Direct-Drive Washer Motor Rotor Hub

This is the hub that mounts on certain LG direct drive washing machines with a direct drive design. The entire rotor assembly is identified by part number 4413ER1000A, however, many owners experience issues where the plastic splined hub gets stripped out due to excessive wear and tear from the shaft, while the metal and magnet components remain in good condition. It's worth noting that on my machine at least, the entire motor unit including this rotor assembly carries a 10-year warranty for parts only. Nevertheless, LG requires a service call to replace the part, which won't be provided without charging an additional fee. The cost of the service call typically exceeds the price of the replacement rotor. I designed this temporary fix to enable users to continue doing laundry while waiting for the replacement rotor to arrive via mail delivery. So far, it appears to function satisfactorily but its longevity remains uncertain.
