LG AN-VC400 Webcam to GoPro mount adapter

I had an AN-VC400 Skype Camera just collecting dust after we stopped using it on our LG TV for Skype calls. My daughter had fun making stop motion videos with it a couple of times, but without a proper mount, she used some duct tape to get the job done - effective, yes, but not ideal. My trusty old tripod was already modified to fit GoPro-style clips, so I decided to create an adapter that uses the original hidden screw from the camera. This way, it replaces the original mounting plate and gives me a solid base for the AN-VC400 Skype Camera. There are two versions of this DIY adapter: one is specifically designed for the original screw (make sure you get the orientation right), while the other version works with an M5 40mm screw and nut.
