LFID - Local Firewall Independent Device Prototype Model

Local Firewall Independent Device is a product created for my group Cyber Insecurity as part of module 3E4 Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Engineers. The task assigned was to design a cyber-security product for use in the home environment. The Local Firewall Independent Device was designed to function as a secure firewall between devices on a user's home network and the outside world, preventing unauthorized devices from accessing the network. With the LFID installed, a user's home broadband connection – whether DSL or fibre optic – connects directly into the device, which then connects to the user's router and any other access points within the home network.
