Designing a Replacement Cap for My Lezyne 400XL Bike Light I recently misplaced the original USB cap for my Lezyne 400XL bike light, prompting me to create a custom replacement that safeguards the charging port on the light. Utilizing the same push-fit mechanism as the original, this new design allows for secure attachment by wrapping an elastic band around the handlebar mount. This added feature ensures the cap stays in place even during intense riding sessions or when navigating rough terrain. Two additional versions have been developed with holes incorporated into their design. The first features a hole on one side, enabling users to tap M4 screws and secure the USB plug using nylon fasteners. The second version includes a hole at the end, allowing for attachment of a lanyard or similar accessory to prevent the cap from falling off and getting lost during storage or transportation.
