****** BETA PRE RELEASE ******** Wanna remove the rear screens from your LX but don't want to leave a nasty hole? That's what this is for. I'm still refining the design, but I figure you can help me based on your feedback. As it is, right now, it's friction fit. you put it on over the screw holes... and the top wont seem to be able to go on, force it gently, using your fingers to help the leather under the top. And there. Cover. I have no idea if it will stay put when driving over rocks or anything, but hopefully some other folks will try it out and and we can improve the design. I will release the STEP file upon request if someone has an idea on how to make it better. but DO NOT SELL THESE, BE COOL. I've got over 40 hours in designing and fine tuning this, and I'm giving it away, you shouldn't sell them either. *** NOTES ** Version pictured is one version behind what's included with the STL. I rounded it off more to make it look cleaner, was also printed in draft mode at 150mm/s MY PRINT SETTINGS: .5mm Nozzle .3 Layers 2 perimeters 33% gyroid infill (and could perhaps do more. depends on if you have any layer adhesion issues. - Some filaments it might get a bit weak. so you may need to print it stronger, it's meant to be held on by friction between the top deforming due to the leather and the screw holes. if you think bolt holes would be better I could do a version that permitted through bolts but I thought that would look crappy, and the cover is right there in the passenger's eye line.
