The Lexus IS-F Airbox Clip is prone to breaking.  This model reinforces the tab with a 3D printed brace, and optionally you can replace your clip if you've lost it.The Brace installs over your existing clip with no modifications required to your airbox (i.e. no drilling, and double-sided tape is optional but recommended).If you don't have access to a printer or are not sure exactly which version you need and would still like this printed, don't hesitate to message me (with close up photos of both tabs), I should be able to help. It can be used regardless if you have a broken tab, or even if you don't (as a preventative measure to ultimately having the tab break on you).After about 20 iterations, finally happy to release V3 of the Airbox Clip Brace. InstructionsOnce printed install the clip (either the factory or the printed plastic one if you have lost it) to the brace (either tab or no-tab version depending on your situation)(Optional) Apply epoxy glue or double sided 3M tape to the base.Install over existing bracket and enjoy.Notes:  Tolerances are tight in order to have a secure fitment.  Some post-processing (i.e. filing/sanding to clean up supports may be required).FAQsWhat if my tab is bent (and won't hold clips) but not actually broken?Use the No-Tab version of Brace V3.What if my tab has broken off completely?Use the Tab version Brace V3.Will this work on my GS-F?No.  It is incompatible (at least the clip as far as I know.  Please do feel free to try it).Will this work on my RC-F?Maybe.  It looks the same, but feel free to try and let me know how you go.I don't have a 3D printer but would still like replacement clipsHappy to help out, just send me a message.ThanksIf you do find this model useful or have managed to save money using this model, please consider a small donation which i'll use to fund development of new models. Thanks Version 3.1Added two versions of the brace. PROD_Airbox_Brace_V3_FactoryOrPartialTab (use if you have an unbroken tab, or partially broken tab) PROD_Airbox_Brace_V3_NoTab (use if you have a completely broken tab this version has an integrated tab)Refinement to the Lever Replacement model so it requires less post processing (sanding). Version 3Added a completely plastic replacement clip and lever.  If you've lost your clip you can now print a new one without having to buy a whole new box (they won't sell you just a single clip at Lexus).Version 2Completely redesigned.  Remediated issue whereby pulling upwards easily dislodged the brace and releasing clip.  This solution now is a far tighter fit (yes you need to add additional force installing) and less prone to working itself loose.Also improvement to the base design, allow sufficient room for you to apply 3M double sided tape for additional security or if you're keen enough JB Weld or superglue.The above changes do not require you to drill or damage your existing air box in anyway (i.e. it is 100% reversable).Print Settings100% infill0.20mm or 0.30mm Layer HeightPETG or ABSSupports Required (G-Code supplied).
