Lexus GX460 RAM Phone Mount Base

I wanted a way to mount my cell phone that allows quick removal of the phone & brackets and keeps the holder base concealed in the front console tray still allowing the lid to close. Using the RAM arm and phone mount, the 3D printed base is attached inside the console tray with 2 sided tape. I designed this for my 2021 GX but should work on a 2022+ GX. My design is based on the RAM 1" ball (B ball size) but uses an aluminum T-track attached with VHB tape mounted vertically on the side wall on the inside of the front cubby, below the sliding door so it is hidden and functions. Then a 3D printed ball mount slips into the T-track which is used with the RAM arm and phone mount. The idea is no holes or damage to the dash, easy to remove, and flexible mounting locations to suit your individual needs. NOTE: Print the ball parallel to the bed for strength (90 deg from what is shown in picture), This way ensures the layer lines are along the length of the ball eliminating the weakness associated with the layers
