Check out [version 2](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3114685) for a simplified setup that requires fewer printed parts! This is essentially a precise "enlarger" replica, utilizing a standard 50mm (M39 mount) enlarger lens to perfectly hold your film for digitizing with a Sony E-mount camera. The design is semi-parametric, allowing you to adjust tube lengths if needed to adapt the model for a different lens mount. The threaded tubes feature a buttress thread design, eliminating printing issues caused by overhangs. If tighter threads are required, simply add Teflon tape after printing to secure them in place. To avoid unnecessary spray painting, print the parts using a non-transparent plastic material. Ensure that you glue only the swivel lock to the mount, allowing for smooth rotation of the entire device relative to the camera without adjusting focus. The film holder is designed with a spring-loaded mechanism using 3mm cap head screws and a compression spring between the nut and film holder. If unavailable, use a small section of 3mm filament as a substitute.
