Lewmar ST16 Wave Series Stripper Plate

Lewmar ST16 Wave Series Stripper Plate

Made a stupid mistake when reassembling the winch after servicing and ended up breaking the stripper plate. After researching online and contacting Lewmar I found that the older Wave Series of their winches are no longer offered parts (other than standard pawls and what not). I tried to buy the stripper plate for the Ocean series winches but that plate does not fit the older wave series. I printed this in PAHT-CF with 6 perimeters to give the surface good abrasion resistance and strength. I did sand the edge smooth and gave that edge a minor polish before re-deployment because the CF can make for an abrasive surface and while you don't want your line wearing the part. You also don't want the part wearing on your expensive lines! I don't expect anything but if giving a dollar for the efforts would warm your heart I've created a link to allow that here: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=D2DUV8CJNM64L Here is a link to a video of the part installed into my winch and operating. I didn't have a handle or anything to mount it to handy when I first got things assembled: https://photos.app.goo.gl/9siUeE695Nuce2Mb7 Lastly if you would like to further edit my model in OnShape to learn the CAD tool or to modify the parameterized dimensions so that you can print this for any Lewmar Ocean or Wave series winches...
