This item, part of a full collection scanned by the National Museums of Scotland, underwent triple scanning using the MakerBot Digitizer at the local library. The resin reproduction features an intricate wavy pattern on its shield, which may have become more pronounced after the first scan due to the library's advanced multiple scan capabilities. This was an opportunity for me to experiment with the Lewis chessmen.
