This is a versatile spool support attachment that utilizes readily available M8 rods for added stability. It offers customization options for height, although the horizontal rod must be precisely 125mm to accommodate the printer's chassis window dimensions. To assemble this spool support, you will need three chassis clips, one cross-union piece, and two M8 nut holders. Additionally, two M3 nuts/bolts per clip, four M8 nuts, and some time are required for completion. I utilize this attachment to secure the spool on the left side window of my printer's chassis (near the bowden extruder). This setup provides a straightforward installation process while accommodating a wide range of spool dimensions. Currently, I am exploring mini-spool designs to minimize overall size. A custom roller can be designed with an inner diameter of 9mm and dimensions tailored to your specific spool requirements. Creating this component is relatively simple using a pair of cylinders.
