It's crucial to note that most wall plates contain fire suppression additives, even without a 'UL' certification, while 3D printed filaments typically do not have these additives. Some retailers like Home Depot sell wooden wall plates without any fire suppression features. If you're concerned about fire risk due to an overloaded outlet or short circuit, consider alternative options.
