Levitating/tensegrity armchair
thingiverse
A while ago I had too much time on my hands and somehow came to the idea of creating an armchair design - a classic feat of aspiring designers. At the time, the 3D printing community was obsessed with tensegrity structures so I decided to put that idea at the centre of my design and this idea eventually evolved into the three designs that make up this project. However the third of the designs proved so hard to print with my Ender3 (I challenge you to print it, it is a good torture test for any printer) that it took me another 2 years to publish this. But here it is, I hope someone someday somewhere will find it useful. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- This should be fairly straightforward to print with the right amount of supports, etc. Obviously don't separate the intertwined models for printing and for the holes for the strings you will need to use some needle to pull the string through (or to make them bigger with a heated needle.)
