Lever Safety Valve

The valve is loaded through the spindle by the weight placed at one end of the lever which has its fulcrum screwed to the cover on the other side.the load is adjusted by the counter-weight placed at or near the other end of the lever.The lever is guided within the stirrup which is attached to the spindle by a taper pin.The lower end of the spindle rests in a cavity within the valve to which it is attached by means of a pin. The top end supports the lever through a bearing inserted in the lever.
