Lever principle and Equilibrium

Lever principle and Equilibrium

This entry belongs to the MakerEd Project Challenge, where I'm currently pursuing a vocational training teacher certification. Aspiring to make complex engineering principles accessible to my future students, this challenge has helped me simplify explanations for these concepts. A model illustrating how levers function and how balance is achieved by applying opposing torques while considering weights and distances has been developed in this project. Although this concept may seem straightforward to those familiar with it, introducing it to young students can be challenging. Through this initiative, I aim to facilitate students' understanding of fundamental principles such as torque (distance x weight), levers, and equilibrium. By leveraging discovery learning methods, these concepts can become engaging and comprehensible for my future students.
