Lever for Pressing Buttons
myminifactory
This innovative lever is crafted with ease-of-use in mind for individuals struggling with hand mobility issues to press buttons on devices like electric toothbrushes, shavers, and trimmers. Since button layouts vary by device - some raised, others inset - I chose an M5 16 mm to 20 mm screw and nut setup as an adjustable offset solution. This adaptation ensures the lever can be tailored to fit any button perfectly. The sleek design makes it a breeze to attach with a zip tie, providing secure hold on most surfaces. However, if the surface allows for rotation after attachment, adding an elastic band or piece of Dycem under the rounded part where the lever meets the appliance creates a non-slip interface once the zip tie is tightened.
