I needed a simple, non-invasive solution that wouldn't require drilling into our apartment's doors to prevent our one and a half year old from opening lever doors. These devices stop the lever from pivoting down, and most kids who need child safety devices are too short to lift the lever high enough to disengage the latch. I've installed them on all of our doors now, and so has a family member - they're working flawlessly so far. I've tested them with various brands and styles of lever knobs, and none have failed to fit. The left and right devices are included, and I suggest placing it on the side most likely to be grabbed by little hands - usually the outside of the door. A 25% or more hex infill should provide sufficient strength if printing in PLA.
