Refer to the instructions on the PDF of the original version (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4744121) on how to place the components/where to use the internal elastics and how to load the gun. I changed (almost) nothing about the internal mechanism, so that is still the same with the original. All i did change was extend the length of the bolt slightly, in an attempt to make it make reliable. I don't think this worked however, it really is just dependant on how tight the elastics are at the hammer/escapement. Body cover in picture will vary with the uploaded file slightly, i didn't want to waste plastic for a cosmetic change. Flower pattern on front_body_decal was made from a SVG on a free SVG database website. Credit to the original creator for that, whoever that was. When i made the original version, i was not satisfied. It had to use a specific rubber band size, which i didn't have, it was sharp on the edges, so not very comfortable to hold and it tended to shoot upwards and not straight ahead. Glue was required for the original, and the other available remix's both requires inserts, for which i didn't have the correct size of. On top of that, the original files were not available so i had to draw over them. The .step file of the original design (and mine!) is included, although it's kind of hastily drawn over so it's not completely accurate. If you are here just to print this, this shouldn't concern you. I took inspiration from another remix with the octangonal barrels. Improvements i made with this design: -Self-tapping screw holes (no more inserts!) -Comfortable to hold -Extendable stock (original was too short) -Most rubber band sizes supported via extendible barrel -enlarged gap in main body under the big_lever and escapement pin for elastics to have more breathing room. -added thick washers for the rotor to keep it in the middle -added ironsight -improved accuracy of the rubber bands (rubber bands are inheritantly chaotic, so never expect them to always hit.) -decorative holes (optional) You can choose if you want the decal version of a part or not, you just need one of the two. Little trick i used on the internal parts, instead of using more elastics, use less elastics but have them go back and forth more often. **Barrel choice**: There are two barrel1's to choose from, depending on what elastic size you will be shooting. Grab the one you are planning to shoot and stretch it out to almost as much as possible. Measure how much you can stretch it. If that amount is <20cm, choose Barrel1_slotted, and only print 1 Barrel2. Otherwise, choose Barrel1_Solid, and print Barrel2 twice. **Hardware requirements**: 12 M3x6 1 M3x20 (m3x16 is also fine) 2 M3x16 2 M3x30 2 M3x25 (If using the extended barrel with Barrel1_Solid) **Printing**: For printing (I only know Cura so you are on your own with other slicers, but shouldn't be that difficult i think) i recommend setting "Wall Ordering" to "Inside to Outside". And Big_Lever is highly susceptible to warping, please print with a brim. Probably also the trigger (less so) but havn't tested without. Barrel1 (both versions) you probably want to print standing straight up with a brim. Barrel2 i recommend printing with a higher infill so that the elastics bend it less when the gun is loaded (only applies to using Barrel1_Solid version). IMPORTANT: Refer to the original's instructions PDF for printing the main body. Those pins need to be SOLID and i don't think you want to waste plastic. Make sure to use support on parts with hooks! That would be escapement, big lever, main body, and hammer. Also backstock should be printed with supports, for obvious reasons. Front_Body too, if you orient it upright. **Usage**: The two rotor washers are used to keep the rotor in the center. I hope i don't have to explain how you can set the stock distance. To use the ironsight, simply line up the top of ironsight with the top of the rotor, and through the triangle in the rotor aim at the target! i was able to get fairly accurate results up to 3 meters. Too much of a drop after that. **Barrels and elastic length**: Make sure all screws are on the underside of the barrels, and don't stick out the top! the top part needs to be clear for the gun to shoot accurately. If using Barrel1_Slotted, you can use the second M3x30 as stopping point for your elastics. if using Barrel1_Solid, simply slide the second barrel in as far as you need it to, and fasten it with one of the M3x25 screws.
