Levelling mount for Anycubic Predator
thingiverse
The standard mount is held firmly in place by the magnet on one side, but it's only able to maintain its level position thanks to the printed mount that keeps everything consistent and stable in the Z plane. To make this adjustment, you simply need to turn the existing magnetic mount 180 degrees and screw a single m3 countersink cap into the effector plate. That's it - easy peasy! The printed mount securely holds the original rectangular metal plate in place, and at the other end it has a strong neodym magnet glued in with Permabond UV620 UV cured adhesive. This setup is way more rigid in the Z plane than the original levelling mount, which was only supported on one side. As a result, I've achieved 100% reliability with stock board levelling. The pictures show how the mount looks when printed in PLA with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer heights. And guess what? Auto levelling now works every time!
