It levels the printer on an uneven surface, providing up to 44 mm of height (28 mm minimum) for the Arduino controller board or a fan installation underneath the printer. The aim is to increase air flow towards the bottom section of the printer where motors reside. I created this component with 18 mm clearance for the screw's insertion and holds the nut securely in place. You can choose to glue it, or apply gentle pressure when it's still hot from printing to ensure a snug fit - in my case, no adhesive was required. To secure it to your printer's bottom, epoxy or double-sided tape (good quality) can be used. Its 20 x 20 mm base makes it compatible with either 1515 or 2020 aluminum extrusion sizes. If this helps, it was my first personal project made from scratch using SketchUp. For best results, print it in ABS solid form to achieve the strength and stability needed for daily use.
