level gauge holder for Chiron
thingiverse
This clips securely onto the rail and holds the dial gauge firmly in place. You can easily slide the holder along the rail from left to right with minimal effort. Combine this with the dial gauge for effortless leveling of the bed. How to Use: 1. Home all axes without the gauge attached. 2. Place the gauge on the rail as shown, allowing it to slide freely left and right when needed. 3. Referring to the picture, I have found that the gauge should read between 25 and 35 for all measured spots. Manually move the bed backwards, then measure the front left and right areas. Adjust the bed knobs accordingly to achieve a reading between 25 and 35. Repeat this process by sliding the bed forward to the center and back, leaving the Z-axis unchanged. Print this design in any material, including PLA, ABS, or PETG. Supports are not required for printing. Recommended Printing Settings: - Use three perimeters for added strength. - Achieve at least 15% infill density. - A 0.3mm layer height is recommended for optimal results.
