Level Coins - Rewarding Education for Kids
thingiverse
Hi, I created this "Level Coins" system to teach my four-year-old son how to behave better during challenging situations while having fun. It's an educational method that uses collectible coins to reward good behavior. Preparation: Determine the problems you want to solve and identify the areas where your child struggles. My family had four main issues: getting him to brush his teeth independently, being kind to other kids in kindergarten, cleaning up his room before bed, and going to bed on time. I designed a weekly schedule with pictures for each activity, one per day, seven days a week. I printed 20 Level Coins and the Pod to collect them using a 3D printer. How it works: - Every time your child exhibits good behavior in these problem areas, they earn a Level Coin, place it in the Pod, and mark off the corresponding picture on the paper with a pen. - If their behavior is not good, no Level Coin is earned, and the picture on the paper gets crossed out. - In extreme cases of bad behavior, you can threaten to remove a Level Coin from the Pod. - When your child collects 20 Level Coins, they receive a reward, such as a new toy or special activities like a day at an amusement park.
