Levavasseur Whistle

Levavasseur Whistle

cults3d

Imagine taking the cross section of a standard referee's whistle and rotating it around an axis to form a toroidal shaped sound cavity - that's exactly what Robert Levavasseur did when he patented this whistle in 1956. They say that during testing, a massive 6ft version of this type of whistle produced such deafening sound waves that they ruptured the internal tissues of Levavasseur and two of his colleagues. This whistle is simpler and smaller than the version described in Levavasseur's patent (available on Google). Although it does make a whistling sound, many improvements could be made to optimize its tone. Nevertheless, it will undoubtedly grab the players' attention out on the field!
