Saving $30+ USD just got a whole lot easier with this super quick and dirty solution, because Leupold's official riser comes at a price that's way more than you'd expect to pay for a slab of aluminum. Plus, it's also much lighter. You'll need some longer screws, though - they have to pass through the riser and thread into the cross slot mount. I'm still trying to figure out the thread size, but I've been rummaging around in my spare screw bin in the garage, and 25mm seems like a good length for absolute co-witness. For 1/3 lower co-witness, you'll want to go with something a bit longer - 28-30mm should do the trick.
