This bracket makes it possible to use face shields with holes punched by a standard US 3-hole punch, which creates three 0.281-inch diameter holes spaced at 4.25 inches apart. A 30-inch length of 3/8-inch elastic keeps the bracket secure on the wearer's head. To make an elastic loop, simply staple the ends together after looping it through the bracket - use high-quality staples that won't come loose easily. Recommended for this application are legal-sized transparencies (8.5 x 14 inches) or clear plastic sheets of equivalent size. Some punches may only accommodate letter-sized sheets, so make sure to check your Swingline Smarttouch 20 punch before proceeding.
