letter opener
thingiverse
Designed by Rudolf Greger and Christoph Pauschitz of GP Designpartners in Vienna in 1993, this letter opener is unique as it's not meant to inflict harm. The creative design resembles a snail, making it an amusing addition to any desk. It took 30 minutes to digitally recreate the model using Google Sketchup. This tribute shows how times have changed; nowadays, I rarely receive letters. However, this quirky letter opener is functional and effective in its purpose.
