Here is Leslie's next Bubble Cap Base prototype: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3909188 This is a proof-of-concept with shaping designed to combine functionality and form. The curved shape mirrors the lower section of the larger glass work seen in the pictures, aiming for an authentic look. It may be slightly oversized, but the overall shape will need refinement. Despite this, the prototype passed its first round of testing with flying colors, according to eyewitness accounts. To enhance the design's stability and "footing," I plan to use different color PETG filament and consider adding a few layers of Ninjaflex before continuing in PETG.
