The Les Paul Custom project features a Solidworks model designed specifically for producing drawings to manufacture a guitar body with an unconventional reverse layering - a mahogany top and maple body - and a mahogany neck. The neck was purchased from eBay, while the pickups are currently Fender humbuckers, with plans to upgrade to Seymour Duncan pickups as soon as possible.
