Lerdge iX Mount for Fanless Power Supply
prusaprinters
Since I found the original power supply that came with the Lerdge IX to be extremely loud, I looked for a fanless alternative and found this affordable model. This required designing a new mounting solution. In the process, I integrated a way to install a USB socket, which I connected to the power supply with a 5V voltage regulator. This allows me to power my Raspberry Pi Zero 2, which is needed for Octoprint, directly from the printer's power supply. Therefore, I also added a mounting option for the Pi below the power supply compartment. To secure the Pi, the cover for the power supply housing, and the cover plate for the USB socket, a total of 10 M2 threaded inserts with their corresponding screws are required.
