I designed this sensor mount specifically for the CR10, making sure it is stiff enough to provide a secure fit. The design allows for easy threading of PTFE compression fittings, enabling you to insert or remove filament as needed, just like in the pictures provided. The holes are intentionally undersized so that if desired, they can be used instead as guides. Using M6x1.0 compression fittings, I recommend drilling with a .1960" drill bit for optimal results. Alternatively, a 3/16" bit will also work effectively for these holes, as well as the mounting thru-holes. I undersized the mount screw holes but found that M4 screws fit perfectly. The length of the screws will depend on your specific needs and requirements. For the sensor mounting screws, I used M3s, again intentionally undersizing them so they can be easily enlarged with a .086" drill bit and tapped for secure installation.
