Human: High-resolution 3D scan of Leptoglossus phyllopus achieved using scAnt, a cutting-edge open-source platform for creating detailed digital models of arthropods and small items. This versatile platform comprises a scanner paired with a user-friendly Graphical User Interface that facilitates automated multi-view Extended-Depth-Of-Field (EDOF) image capture. The captured images are simultaneously processed and masked using an innovative approach combining random forest-based edge detection, adaptive thresholding, and connected component labeling techniques.
