Leprechaun Trap
thingiverse
I designed this Leprechaun Trap based on a drawing my 6-year-old daughter created. It's not flawless, but it's still an enjoyable build despite its awkwardness and imperfections. To print all parts, I used a layer height of 0.20 in various PLA materials. Only the Trap Catch and Trap Door Short require supports. For a pot of gold, I utilized [muzz64's pot](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2134709) combined with [NoahBody's lid](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3426636). This combination made the pot look as if it were overflowing with coins. Both pieces were scaled down to fit inside the trap. Once everything is printed, you'll need to attach a string from the pot of gold through the small hole at the top over the pulley and then to the Trap Catch. As the pot of gold is pulled towards the exit, it should trigger the Trap Catch, causing the Trap Door Short and Front Door to drop.
