A fossil unearthed near Beckley, West Virginia, was meticulously scanned in 3-D using a Go!Scan 50 at Roanoke College on March 31, 2018. The scanning process took place during a comprehensive workshop focusing on 3-D printing and 3-D scanning techniques, skillfully organized by Dr. DorothyBelle Poli and expertly conducted by Dr. Bernard K. Means.
