Leonidas Sword - NO texture Develop in Blender 3D software by creating a new project and setting the units to metric. In the object mode, click on the cube icon in the toolbar and scale it down to create the sword's handle. Switch to edit mode, select all vertices and press 'Ctrl+Shift+r' to subdivide the mesh four times. This will allow for more detailed modeling of the handle. Model the guard by creating a new circle and extruding it upwards. Add some thickness to the blade by duplicating the original cube and rotating it 90 degrees. Merge the two cubes together, positioning them so that the sharp edge is facing outwards. Create a new plane for the sword's pommel and merge it with the rest of the model. Use the knife tool or the loop cut tool to create a detailed texture-free surface on the blade. Add some curves to the hilt by creating a Bezier curve and snapping it to the handle vertices. To add some realism, use the array modifier to create small notches along the length of the blade. Finally, export the model as an .obj file and import it into Blender's game engine to see how it looks in 3D space.
