Human: Author Unknown Chronology: Baroque Date: 1603 Type: Sculpture Place of Discovery: Nitrarium di Montebelluna (Treviso) Location of Conservation: Museum of Natural History and Archaeology of Montebelluna (Treviso) A limestone slab depicting the winged lion symbol of the Republic of Venice, with inscription 1603. It was found in the Nitrarium, a building used for saltpeter processing. 3D model created by participants in the first edition of the Summer School Makars (July 2017). Permission granted by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism; reproduction prohibited.
