Leonardo, or Leo, stands out as one of the four main heroes in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics and all associated media. In the Mirage/Image Comics universe, each of the four turtles proudly wears a red bandana, but other versions show him sporting a blue bandana instead. He is easily recognizable by his two ninjato, which have become an integral part of his fighting style. Throughout different adaptations and interpretations, he consistently emerges as the eldest and leader among his brothers, showcasing exceptional discipline and leadership skills. Interestingly, in many versions, he is named after the renowned artist and inventor Leonardo da Vinci. In the 2012 series, a unique twist reveals that he develops strong romantic feelings for Karai, perceiving her as his ideal love interest.
