Here's a high-quality low-poly 3D model Lensbaby Control Freak Lens that can be used in various fields such as game development, advertising, interior design, motion picture art, visualization, etc. The model was created with ortho-photos of the real lens, ensuring all details are recreated authentically. This low-poly model is easy to use and consists of two meshes with two materials: Lens body and Glass of Lens. It has a well topology that allows for high-quality results with minimal polygons, making it suitable even for close-up shots. To achieve advanced realism, we used Specular, Glossiness, and Bump textures. For correct glossiness effects, set the V-Ray renderer's "BRDF Type" to Phong. To get a reflective effect, set "Use Fresnel" and "Fresnel IOR" to 5. Set "Bump Multiplier" between 0.1 and 0.2 for optimal Bump depth. The model includes four main textures with a resolution of 2048 pixels square in .png format. The original texture file is also available in .PSD format separately. This model was created using the Maya 2009 3D program and has correct dimensions in real-world scale in centimeters, with all parts grouped and named correctly. A prepared render-scene was created in Maya 2014 with V-Ray 2.40, which can be opened in earlier versions up to Maya 2012 with V-Ray 2.0 using the .ma format. The scene includes six V-Ray Rect Light + reflectors, V-Ray MTL materials assigned to the model, and animation keys set for the model and Render Camera position. We also rendered this model in another scene with HDRI lighting for a more realistic demonstration of materials characteristics. However, this scene is not included for sale. To use the model in other 3D programs, scenes are saved in formats .fbx, .obj, .DAE, and .max (2010 version). Note that this low-poly model is designed to work without smoothing modifiers.
