Lens mounts for AGORDKRC VR goggles
thingiverse
For the 'VR AGQRDKRC Virtual reality googles (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09VS2GYMP), but is a likely to be fit for other types of goggle - or at least could be remixed. The intent is a simple adapter that takes the existing plastic lenses, and push fits to the tube the lens was in. The original lens then fits into the adapter. At this point this is a quick test - for example a tiny piece earthquake putty is used to hold the lens in, and a little more on the side of the fitting that pushes over the lens. A lens clip should be easy to add to hold the lens in without putty - but I have it working well for me, so I'll let you fix that :) In my case I lucked onto a light interference fit on the eyepiece tube - but a little glue is needed. I used toothpicks and hot glue and it seems to be OK. The original design was created via OnShape and is public - https://cad.onshape.com/documents/c234b1c86ed7875f546bec09/w/1c792c3088b042672a1df484/e/e817cb14e29fc30efc793961. Remix away! Update 10 Jun 2022: - fixed lens diameter (was 1mm too large for no good reason) - made the lens separating ring thicker for easier printing, and to give an extra mm or two of shift of the lens for more focus accommodation Also the goggles seem to be discontinued :(
