I had a lens with a lens hood attached to it. Initially, I attempted to fill the chip with epoxy using a filler, carefully removing the plaster cast from the entire part, but unfortunately, it turned out poorly - the epoxy flowed where it wasn't needed. Recently, I decided to go on a photography expedition and took my lens along, realizing that I could easily fix it by simply typing away. First, I printed the mount, and after my second attempt, the ring fit snugly onto the lens mount. Then, I printed the whole thing in full. It sits a bit too tightly, but this can be adjusted through post-processing. Spending $65 on eBay for just a piece of plastic seems like a pretty steep price to pay.
