This lens hood is designed for the Pentax 02 Zoom lens, reducing flare and enhancing contrast when bright lights are near the field of view. The initial version has some improvements needed: it has a broader vertical field of view, causing larger size than necessary; and it hinders full lens retraction (15mm zoom) when fitted in reverse for storage due to insufficient base width. At 8mm or less, V1 may partially shadow the flash, but this issue is addressed in V2 and possibly V3. A petal-shaped version, V3, exists with identical features except shape. Printing instructions include slicing at 0.1mm in black matte ABS without rafts or supports, and painting the inside matte black to minimize reflection. For a tried-and-tested option, print V1; for improved versions, consider printing V2 or V3.
