Note: 2017.02.18 I've encountered a major issue - this design weighs too much at 9 grams, making it unsuitable for our gimbal. I'm working on a modification to get it back on track. Note: 2017.02.22 After uploading version 2, my initial concerns seem unfounded as the revised design is significantly lighter, weighing in at just 3 grams. However, we still need to test its performance under flight conditions. Note: 2017.04.02 We've finally put this design through its paces and it's a resounding success! I'm thrilled with how it's turned out - the stopper ensures that the lens hood is securely attached to the camera, giving us peace of mind during operation. I printed this part in black PLA plastic, requiring no support structures to hold it in place.
